On last Friday, November 30, in Room 9806 at Building 9 of the Faculty of Economics, UNPAR’s Management Study Program was blessed with the arrival of guests from afar. They were students from Manado’s De La Salle Catholic University’s Faculty of Economics, Management Study Program. The students from De La Salle University came to do comparative study, especially with regards to exchanging knowledge about organization as well as projects planning within the student association.
Few of the board of UNPAR’s Management Study Program Student Association (HMPSM) specifically came to welcome the group from De La Salle that consisted of 44 students and 3 lecturers. Tanto Kurnia, ST., MA., M.Ak. as the Vice Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni for Faculty of Economics also came to welcome them as well as gave greetings. Following that, Head of the Management Study Program, Triyana Iskandarsyah, Dra., M.Si., also greeted the group. She hoped that the visit from De La Salle Catholic University’s Management Study Program would go well and bring benefits for both sides. Triyana Iskandarsyah also opened a cooperation opportunity between UNPAR and De La Salle Catholic University in the future.
Next, it was UNPAR’s HMPSM turn to present their profile and projects they did to De La Salle Catholic University’s students. QnAs and discussion sessions came at the end of the presentation. For the next 2 hours, the event had the pleasure of the presence of Dr. Agus Daniar, Drs., MBA., who presented the students with a lecture with the overarching theme of Business Communication.
The last session was a campus tour. UNPAR’s HMPSM committee invited the group to a tour in the Faculty of Economics Building, which is Building 9 to see the infrastructure, facilities, and activities available on campus. The comparative study ended with having lunch together.
