ICOI 2025 Successfully Held in Bali, Gathering 180 Experts from 10 Countries, UNPAR Doctoral Economics Student Wins Best Papers Award

Bali, Indonesia – The 16th International Conference on Organizational Innovation (ICOI) 2025 was successfully held from July 15–17 at Dhyana Pura University, Bali. This prestigious event brought together more than 180 academics, researchers, and practitioners from at least ten countries, including Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, India, Australia, the United States, Japan, Cyprus, South Africa, and the Czech Republic.

Organized by the International Association of Organizational Innovation (IAOI – USA), the Indonesian Management Forum (FMI), and Dhyana Pura University as the host, the conference was supported by various educational institutions and global professional organizations.

The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Frederick Dembowski (IAOI–USA) and Prof. Dr. I Gusti Bagus Rai Utama (Dhyana Pura University) and featured world-class keynote speakers such as Dr. Sydney Engelberg and Dr. Anastasios Zopiatis.

Over the course of three days, participants attended more than 20 parallel sessions covering a wide range of current topics, including marketing management, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, finance, information technology, and human resource management. All presented papers had undergone a rigorous peer review process.

One of the event highlights was the panel session “Ecotourism and Digital Marketing,” showcasing the contributions of Indonesian researchers to the development of technology-based sustainable tourism.

A proud achievement came from a doctoral student in Economics at Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), who won the Best Papers award. This recognition was given for research that demonstrated novelty, strong relevance, and significant potential impact in the field of organizational innovation.

Beyond being a platform for knowledge exchange, ICOI 2025 also strengthened cross-country and cross-disciplinary collaboration networks. Set against the rich cultural backdrop of Bali, participants enjoyed a harmonious blend of academic and cultural experiences.

The conference also opened opportunities for publication in reputable journals such as the International Journal of Organizational Innovation and encouraged participants to engage actively as editors and reviewers. The innovative spirit fostered at ICOI 2025 is expected to continue through future global research collaborations.
