Comparative Study is one of the annual work programs by the UNPAR management study program

Comparative Study is one of the annual work programs by the UNPAR management study program student association. The function of the work program is to provide work program innovation as well as to establish relationships with fellow student associations from other universities. The theme of this comparative study work program is “stay inspiring and disruptive”. The theme comes from two words, first is inspiring, where it is hoped that the comparative study work program will become one of the forums to provide innovations in the work program of the UNPAR management student association in the future, as well as being an inspiration for fellow administrators and students. The second is disruptive, where the comparative study work program is also expected to be able to provide innovative work programs that are certainly in accordance with the needs of students and administrators. The comparative study is divided into 3 main events, the first is a presentation by each association, the second is ice breaking, the last is a focus group discussion.

The Comparative Study Work Program was held on May 6, 2023, located at Atma Jaya University Jakarta. Departure began at 6 am, then arrived at Atma Jaya University at 9 am. The arrival of the UNPAR HMPSM management was warmly welcomed by representatives and all Atma Jaya University HiMEM administrators. After mobilizing and making final preparations with the committee, the event began at 10 am. The event began with remarks from the chief executive, chairman of HMPSM UNPAR and HiMEM Atma Jaya University, to remarks from the UNPAR assistant lecturer. Furthermore, the event continued with presentations by each association, where they introduced their association along with their work programs. Not to forget, the event continued with ice breaking to increase togetherness with HiMEM Atma Jaya University. After that, the event continued with lunch together until heading to the FGD event. The techniqal of the FGD event itself is divided into groups with divisions between associations that have structures and functions that resemble each other. Finally, the event was closed with closing remarks and then a group photo as a form of documentation.

One of the values obtained from the implementation of the first comparative study work program is gaining new perspectives from external organizations. HMPSM UNPAR gained a lot of new knowledge, as well as new innovations from HiMEM Atma Jaya University Jakarta which can then be implemented in HMPSM UNPAR. Furthermore, HMPSM UNPAR also gained a new relationship with HiMEM Atma Jaya University. The relationship is expected to be one of the bridges for positive collaboration between associations as student organizations in the future. This comparative study work program is expected to not only have a positive influence only for HMPSM UNPAR, but for HiMEM Atma Jaya University to also feel the positive impact of the work program. In line with the theme of the work program, where further comparative studies can be an inspiration for administrators and students, by presenting innovative work programs that are in line with their needs.
