Management Social Responsibility 2022

Management Social Responsibility 2022 is a Work Program that was carried out on Friday, 26th August 2022. This work program facilitates UNPAR Management students to channel their social sensitivity. The theme of this work program is “Developing The Important of Literacy for the Good of Interest in Reading” which discusses the lack of literacy in Indonesia so the solution is to develop an interest in reading by giving books to children in need. Management Social Responsibility opens donations from the 1st until the 23rd of August 2022.

On D-day, before starting the whole activities, several committee members went to pick up the orphanages at their school and escorted them to the event location. When they are about to start the activities, the orphanages are divided into several groups according to their learning level, the Play Group (PG) – Kindergarten Group, the 1st – 2nd level Elementary School Groups, and the 3rd – 4th level Elementary School Groups. In the groups, they are invited to play educational games, such as spelling words with the educational posters’ help, listening and writing sentences, and learning to write letters and words. Apart from that, they also listened to a story read by volunteers and choose donated books to  read. At the end of the event, the Management Social Responsibility 2022 committee gave symbolic placards and a number of books for the orphanages to use.
